Open the Reflex project
Put the Reflex project folder on your Mac, then open Terminal in that folder.
cd ~/Downloads/reflexmacOS · Apple Silicon
This creates a standard graphical macOS installer for Apple Silicon Macs. It installs the native reflex command in /usr/local/bin; after that, use reflex run hello.rflx from any terminal.
Put the Reflex project folder on your Mac, then open Terminal in that folder.
cd ~/Downloads/reflexYou only need this once. It provides the macOS package builder.
xcode-select --installRust is used here only to build the installer. People who install your finished package do not need Rust or Python.
cargo build --manifest-path native/Cargo.toml --release -p reflex-cliThis runs the included Apple Silicon packaging script and writes the installer into the dist folder.
VERSION=0.1.0-alpha.1 REFLEX_BIN="$PWD/native/target/release/reflex" ./installers/macos/build-pkg.shOpen the output folder and double-click the package. Apple’s Installer app handles the graphical installation.
open distOpen a new Terminal window and test the installed command:
reflex --versionreflex run hello.rflx
For your own testing, an unsigned package is fine. Before sharing publicly, use an Apple Developer account to sign and notarize the app and installer.
